Position Info:

• Position: Graphic Designer
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $34.62~$36.00/hour (depending on experience)
• Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
• Number of Positions: 1
• Work Location: 269 Lone Oak Place, Victoria, BC V9B 0X3

Benefits:

• 4% vacation pay

Job Duties:

• Create the graphic elements that align with the clients’ objectives
• Produce realistic or representational sketches and final illustrations.
• Estimate cost of materials and time to complete graphic design
• Modify or enhance current visual representations
• Prepare sketches, layouts and graphic elements
• Consult with clients to determine the nature and content of illustrations in order to meet their communications needs

Job requirements:

• Language: English
• Experience: 1-2 years of relevant experience is required
• Education: A university degree in visual arts with specialization in graphic design, commercial art, graphic communications or cartooning or Completion of a college diploma program in graphic arts is required
• A portfolio of work is required
