J&C Bottle Depot is seeking a Bottle Depot Supervisor Job

Position Info:
• Position: Bottle Depot Supervisor
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $37.00/hour
• Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
• Number of Positions: 1
• Work Location: 200 Rosetown Avenue, Penticton, BC V2A 3J4

Benefits:
• 4% vacation pay

Job Duties:
• Coordinate daily facility logistics to maintain a fast and efficient operational workflow.
• Oversee the collection, sorting, and processing of recyclable containers to maximize facility production.
• Hire and train staff for sorting, customer service, and inventory roles to ensure full operational coverage.
• Assign and review daily tasks for frontline team members to maintain high standards of accuracy and service.
• Manage inventory levels for recyclable materials, depot supplies, and equipment to keep the facility organized.
• Schedule repairs and routine maintenance for all recycling machinery and facility infrastructure.
• Order the specific materials, tools, and supplies required for daily recycling operations.

Job requirements:
• Experience: 3-5 years of experience in the occupation supervised is required
• Education: Completion of secondary school is required
• Language: English
