Job Title: IT Technician – Field Services & Technical Support

Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and dependable IT Technician to deliver high-quality technical support across diverse client environments. This role is ideal for someone with strong experience in break-fix services, hardware deployments, and on-site support, who can diagnose issues quickly and ensure efficient resolution while maintaining excellent service standards.

Key Responsibilities
Deliver break-fix support for desktops, laptops, printers, POS systems, and network devices
Provide on-site and remote technical support to end-users and client locations
Install, configure, and troubleshoot IT hardware and software systems
Execute IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change) activities across multiple sites
Support and troubleshoot network infrastructure (routers, switches, access points)
Perform structured cabling and basic network setup (Cat5e/Cat6)
Diagnose issues efficiently and aim for first-time resolution
Maintain accurate service reports, documentation, and ticket updates
Collaborate with dispatch and internal teams for timely updates and escalations
Required Skills & Qualifications
1–3+ years of experience in IT support or field service environments
Strong understanding of Windows OS, hardware troubleshooting, and networking fundamentals
Hands-on experience with break-fix and on-site service delivery
Familiarity with POS systems, printers, and enterprise IT equipment
Ability to work independently and manage multiple service calls efficiently
Strong communication and customer service skills
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as required
Preferred Qualifications
Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or equivalent
Experience supporting multi-site deployments (retail, banking, or enterprise environments)
Knowledge of ticketing systems and SLA-driven support models
