IT Specialist Job

Responsibilities:
- Support the development, maintenance, and troubleshooting of BioCity’s customizable web application, ensuring smooth navigation, secure checkout, and accurate product configuration.
- Monitor system performance, implement updates, and resolve technical issues to maintain stability and user satisfaction.
- Maintain data integrity, including customer accounts, order history, and product customization modules.
- Implement cybersecurity practices, updates, and backup procedures to protect customer information.
- Collaborate with the marketing and administrative teams to integrate new bioplastic products, customization features, and sustainability education content into the platform.

Requirements:
- Diploma or degree in IT, computer science, or a related field.
- Experience with web application support, database operations, and basic UI/UX troubleshooting.
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles, especially for e-commerce environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to work independently.
- Familiarity with environmentally focused digital platforms or start-ups is an asset.
