IT Security Analyst 1 (ITSA1) Job

Job Summary
The Security Analyst 1 supports software procurement and renewal processes by conducting cybersecurity risk assessments, documenting findings, and ensuring workflow alignment across procurement and IT platforms. This role works closely with business, procurement, and IT teams to support risk review, process improvement, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform cybersecurity risk assessments for new software requests and renewals
• Enter and manage assessment data in OneTrust and ServiceNow
• Provide comments and documentation
• Collaborate with business units, procurement, and IT teams to clarify requirements
• Support process mapping, workflow improvement, and reduction of duplicate steps
• Track workload, turnaround time, and reporting metrics
Required Skills and Certification
• 3+ years of experience with cybersecurity risk assessment and third-party risk tools such as OneTrust
• 3+ years of familiarity with IT procurement workflows and platforms including ServiceNow and Ohio Buys
• 3+ years of strong documentation and communication skills
• Ability to collaborate across departments and manage multiple requests
• Ability to adapt quickly as processes evolve
Preferred Skills and Certification
• Experience in process mapping and workflow improvement
• Experience supporting procurement-related risk review processes

• Location: Columbus, OH
• Work Schedule: Hybrid, onsite every 3rd day
• Interview Type: Full interviews onsite required
