IT Procurement Category Manager Job
Responsibilities:
Accountable for delivering maximum value from Holman’s supplier base.
Provide guidance to operations in the area of strategic sourcing, procurement services and vendor management.
Work closely with the Holman stakeholders to ensure that procurement of critical materials and services is executed in support of business priorities and overall strategy.
Manage the procurement process, ensuring that all Company policies and procedures are adhered to by personnel involved with the procurement, purchasing and supply chain functions.
Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned
Provide Procurement leadership and strategic guidance to all Holman business units
Maintain deep understanding of external market conditions as they relate to strategic suppliers, i.e., M&A activity, global commodity pricing, competition, etc.
Continuously improve procurement systems and processes to ensure seamless business alignment and efficient execution.
Ability to run and create RFx’s depending including design, scoping of requirements and management of the entire process from start to finish.
Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned
Education and/or Training:
Bachelor’s degree required in related field; Master’s degree preferred.
CPM, CPSM or equivalent preferred.
Relevant Work Experience:
5-10 years of procurement experience preferred.
Experience with sourcing Technology related categories and with Agile Procurement and Project Management.
Experience with Oracle and SAP.
Experience implementing strategic sourcing plans in support of business unit operations (balancing cost, risk and performance).
Advanced understanding of Procurement procedures, processes, and core values.
Proficient in financial modeling and data analysis.
