As a Canadian Payment Service Provider authorized by Alipay and WeChat Pay, AlphaPay specializes in cross-border POS & mobile payment and relative marketing solutions, dedicating to providing a safe and convenient RMB cross-border payment platform for Chinese consumers and Canadian companies. We make integrating Alipay and WeChat Pay for Canadian merchants easy and help enhance their share of 131 million Chinese consumer market.
Duties:
1.Direct the continuous development, operation and maintenance of existing systems.
2.Lead the design of new systems with the effective application of technology to support business strategy achievement
3.Ensure the continued smooth operation of existing systems.
4.Develop, grow and manage our IT Service, Infrastructure and Development functions.
5.Oversee departmental budgeting, including reviewing expenditures, identifying variances, and contributing to budget planning and cost-control strategies.
6.Manage all technical resources within the business including employees, contractors and agencies.
7.Provide long-range plans solution architecture expertise to enable business growth.
8.Enhance, refine and enforce systems processes within the business.
9.Ensure quality standards are being met through rigorous documentation, testing, code release and code review processes.
10.Manage and monitor the costs of infrastructure, software and resources within the Systems function.
11.Accountable to design or buy technology solutions and processes that help create a clear competitive advantage to the business unit or support the organization more broadly.
12.Full participation in testing, implementation and escalation support of critical systems.
13.Recruit, train, and supervise IT staff, fostering professional development and maintaining high performance within the department.

-Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, business administration, or a related field; equivalent work experience may be considered.
-Minimum three years of professional experience in network design, system administration, or software development.
-Proven supervisory or managerial experience in IT-related roles.
-Strong knowledge of networking technologies, cloud computing, web development, POS systems, and security surveillance systems.
-Demonstrated ability to provide innovative and practical IT solutions to meet diverse client needs.
-Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills; ability to work effectively with corporate and government clients.
-Ability to perform under pressure, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet strict deadlines.
