Job duties:
• Read blueprints or work order specifications to determine layout and installation procedures;
• Measure and mark guidelines to be used for installations;
• Install, repair, and service interior prefabricated products such as doors, windows, kitchen cupboards, bathroom vanities, water heaters, and household appliances using hand and power tools;
• Install, repair, and service exterior prefabricated products such as siding, shutters, awnings, fencing, decks, septic and irrigation systems, signs and play structures using hand and power tools.
Skills requirements:
• Preferred minimum of 1-year related experience;
• Preferred knowledge and experience in installing a variety of hardscape applications
• Preferred residential and/or commercial landscape construction experience.
• Valid driver’s license
• Must be highly motivated, self-driven, detailed orientated, professional in appearance and actions, punctual, dependable
• Must have time management skills
• Ability to work effectively with individuals of differing backgrounds, knowledge and skill levels.
• Ability to mentor and train
Terms of employment: Permanent, full-time
Language of work: English
Wage: $28.85 per hour for 35 to 45 hours per week
Education: Secondary School completion
