Musa Suleman Management Consultants is a Toronto-based financial company offering a wide range of services, including tax planning, management advice on saving costs and tax, investment recommendations, payroll and T4 preparation, handling CRA audits, etc.
At this time, we are looking for an Investment Consultant to join our team.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct research and analysis of market trends, economic forecasts, financial periodicals, and other value-creation opportunities to collect information which can be applied towards recommendations on investments
- Collaborate with clients in understanding their needs to provide investment advice from a range of available investment products
- Establish a client base of high-net-worth individuals, business owners and foundations and manage their complex financial needs
- Formulate investment strategies and leverage these strategies to create customized wealth management and investment services for clients
- Evaluate new investment opportunities and strategies, prepare investment analyses and proposals for senior management
- Prepare financing packages for clients, analytical reports, and other documentation
- Maintain research and transaction database
- Remain up to date with all the regulatory rules and trading activities as they relate to clients’ accounts and ensure that all client interaction is accurately documented
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
- MBA is considered an asset
- Relevant experience in investment consulting/ management is preferred
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
- Fluent English
WORK CONDITIONS
- Permanent, full-time position
- $41.60 per hour
- 35 hours of work per week
- Overtime pay ($62.40/ hour) applies after 44 hours of work per week
- Medical and dental benefits
