As a Investment Analyst (NOC: 11101), you will perform some or all of the following duties:
• Gather, analyze, and interpret financial data from diverse sources including daily stock reports, economic forecasts, and company financial statements.
• Evaluate company profiles, stock and bond prices, yields, and future trends to provide strategic investment recommendations.
• Provide expert advice and insights to clients, senior company officials, pension fund managers, and associates based on comprehensive financial analyses.
• Prepare comprehensive reports detailing company, industry, and economic outlooks, along with analytical briefings and correspondence.
• Act as an expert resource for client service and development staff,
• Ensure portfolio and securities databases are accurate and up-to-date,
• Perform security research relating to asset, sector and geographic information,
• Perform statistical and quantitative analysis on securities and portfolios.
Qualifications:
• A bachelor's degree in commerce, business administration, accounting, finance or economics and on-the-job training and industry courses and programs are usually required.
• Strong adaptability and propensity to learn new and challenging things
• Excellent oral and written communication skills is required.
• Experience will be an asset
Terms of employment: Permanent, Full time (30-40 hours/week)
Compensation: CA $37.25 /hour
