POSITION OVERVIEW
As the Inventory control supervisor at Virogin, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the inventory operations across our entire facility. You will ensure the efficient flow of materials, parts, and products throughout the production process. This position involves managing various duties such as shipping, receiving, storing, distributing, and maintaining inventories. Your role will be instrumental in maintaining smooth operations and optimizing inventory management systems to support the company's objectives.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND WORK YOU'LL BE A PART OF
• Directing and supervising inventory management tasks such as shipping, receiving, storing, distributing, and maintaining inventories of materials, parts, and products, while supervising staff to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Coordinating the processing of purchasing transactions to ensure timely procurement of materials and parts required for production.
• Planning and scheduling production activities in alignment with inventory levels and operational requirements to meet production deadlines.
• Optimizing logistical operations by coordinating transportation teams and routes for timely delivery of goods.
• Ensuring strict adherence to company policies, procedures, safety regulations, and quality standards among staff.
• Addressing operational challenges promptly and implementing corrective measures and process improvements as required to enhance efficiency.
• Providing comprehensive training to staff to ensure proficiency in task execution and adherence to protocols.
• Requisitioning essential supplies and materials as necessary to maintain optimal inventory levels and support operational needs.
• Monitoring inventory systems and processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions to enhance inventory management efficiency.

Job Requirements:
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field. A background in science is also advantageous.
• Prior experience in inventory management is highly preferred, demonstrating proficiency in overseeing inventory operations in a manufacturing environment.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with a proven ability to prioritize tasks effectively to meet production demands.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and external partners.
WORKING CONDITIONS
• This position primarily involves administrative tasks related to inventory management.
• Occasional weekend and holiday work may be necessary to support laboratory activities.
POSITION STATUS
• Full-time, M-F, 10a-5p, 32.5 hour/week
• $56,160 annually
• 15 days’ vacation annually
• Transportation allowance
