- Develop and execute Pick Basic programs to extract data from the NoSQL database, update cost, price, and demographic attributes, and ensure data accuracy for analysis and reporting.
- Conduct detailed quantitative analysis on purchase trends, sales performance, and KPIs such as Sales, Margin, GMROI, and MOH to optimize inventory levels and enhance profitability.
- Apply statistical methods like regression analysis and time series forecasting to identify patterns, predict trends, and support data-driven decisions.
- Optimize reporting processes to provide on-demand, scheduled, and automated reports, enabling users to access critical insights efficiently.
- Analyze inventory costs, vendor price lists, and pricing strategies to identify discrepancies, adjust pricing, and maintain profitability during market fluctuations.
- Implement data integrity programs to detect anomalies in the system database, ensure consistency in reporting, and support operational best practices.
- Track historical data trends, investigate order quantities and sales history, and adjust EOQ models to reflect changing sales dynamics.
- Monitor and maintain the database to ensure real-time accuracy, enabling the company to respond swiftly to operational needs and market changes.
Job Requirements:
- A master’s degree in operations research or business Analytics from an accredited university in the United States, or its foreign equivalent.
- Must be able to utilize Python (including NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib) to analyze and visualize data.
- Must have knowledge of data mining and analysis techniques (including classification, association, clustering) and statistical methods (including descriptive and inferential statistics, regression) to track key KPIs, and support C-suite decisions.
- Must have Java programming skills to extract data from databases, develop applications for data access and generate reports.
