Duties:
The International Real Estate Development Coordinator will perform the following duties under the supervision of senior management in support of the company’s residential and mixed-use
real estate development projects in Cyprus and Greece:
1. Market Research and Data Compilation (30%)
Gather, organize, and summarize market data relating to land acquisition and property development opportunities. Research comparable properties, construction cost information, zoning
classifications, and general economic conditions using publicly available databases and industry sources. Prepare summary reports and comparative spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel
and standard office software for management review.
2. Financial and Budget Support (15%)
Assist in preparing and updating project budget summaries and basic financial projections using Microsoft Excel templates. Input cost estimates, projected revenues, and timeline
assumptions provided by management to support internal evaluation of project feasibility and alignment with company growth objectives.
3. Permitting and Regulatory Coordination (15%)
Track permitting, zoning, and regulatory requirements for development projects by communicating with local consultants and reviewing municipal guidelines and land registry information.
Maintain organized records of applications and approvals and provide status updates to management. The employee coordinates documentation but does not independently interpret laws
or provide legal advice.
4. Proposal and Agreement Support (15%)
Assist in preparing business proposals, development summaries, and partnership materials by compiling market and financial data into draft documents. Track revisions to agreements and
coordinate comments between company management and external partners. Work with outside legal counsel to ensure documentation reflects business terms provided by management.
The employee does not independently negotiate or finalize agreements.
5. Project Tracking and Reporting (15%)
Maintain project tracking spreadsheets outlining milestones, timelines, and deliverables using Excel and shared document management platforms. Prepare periodic written status reports
identifying completed tasks and pending items.
6. Stakeholder Communication and Coordination (10%)
Facilitate communication between U.S.-based management and stakeholders in Cyprus and Greece, including developers, consultants, and relevant government offices. Schedule
meetings, assist with site visit coordination, and summarize discussions for management.
Qualifications:
1. Master of Business Administration (MBA) or equivalent advanced degree in business or a related field.
2. Fluency in Greek preferred to facilitate communication with stakeholders in Cyprus and Greece.
3. Minimum three (3) years of experience in real estate development, construction coordination, or international business support.
4. Familiarity with general permitting and zoning processes in Cyprus and Greece sufficient to track applications and coordinate with local professionals.
5. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to coordinate multiple projects and communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
6. Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with real estate and construction professionals in the target regions.
