International Cost Optimization Manager Job

An International Cost Optimization Manager is needed in Dadeville, Alabama.

• Direct the preparation and monitoring of cost analysis for manufacturing of automotive components such as induction systems, reservoir tanks, cockpit module, plastic engineered interior parts, and blackout tapes, with a focus on cost strategies that support global market demands.
• Evaluate international cost drivers, including cross-border trade factors such as tariffs, ship-ping logistics, regional labor and material costs, and currency fluctuations, to ensure com-petitive and accurate cost estimates for international markets.
• Develop comprehensive cost estimation strategies to support international bids and pro-posals, integrating regional trade regulations and market-specific business dynamics into pricing models.
• Collaborate with sales team to align cost estimates with global pricing strategies, ensuring bids are competitive and tailored to regional market requirements.
• Analyze international supply chain processes to identify cost-saving opportunities, stream-line procurement, and enhance cost efficiency for overseas manufacturing and distribution.
• Coordinate with other departments to maintain accurate cost data across all functions, in-cluding development, purchasing, manufacturing, maintenance, and quality control, ensuring alignment with international trade operations.
• Support contract negotiations for international sales by providing detailed cost estimations and recommendations that address specific regional business and trade requirements.
• Monitor international trade compliance, including adherence to export-import regulations, trade agreements, and customs procedures, to mitigate risk and support efficient global oper-ations.

Bachelor’s degree in International Business, International Trade or Business Administration and 3 years of experience in the automotive parts manufacturing industry.
