Tasks
- Diagnose diseases and physiological disorders
- Prescribe medication and treatment
- Refer patients for surgery
- Treat diseases and physiological disorders
- Study the nature, cause and development of diseases and the structural and functional changes caused by diseases
- Act as consultants to other physicians
- Order laboratory tests, X-rays and other diagnostic procedures
- Diagnose and provide non-surgical treatment of diseases and injuries of internal organ systems. Provide care mainly for adults who have a wide range of problems associated with the internal organs
Credentials Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses
- Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities
Languages: English
Education: Degree in medicine
Specialization in clinical medicine: Internal medicine
Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
Work setting: Private practice; Clinic
Location: Edmonton, Alberta T5E 5R8

Salary:$300,000 to$ 500,000 annually (Fee per service)/ 35 to 40 hours per week
