Interior Designer Job

Work with clients to understand their needs and determine initial goals and requirements for the space to be designed;
Work with team to define project specifications and detailed work schedule;
CAD Drafting (Vectorworks, SketchUp, Indesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator);
Design Interiors including concept design, schematic design, design development;
Consult with vendors and inform project specifications based on selected materials for furnishings and décor;
Preparing implementation documentations and coordinating consultants on projects – structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing and vendors;
Specify materials, finishes, appliance, and lighting fixtures and providing schedules & specifications;
Direct the work of technicians by visiting job sites to oversee the installation of materials, furniture, and other design elements;
Maintains current knowledge of trends and materials, techniques, and other developments in interior design.

Master's Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Industrial Design or related field. Must have 1 year experience as an Interior Designer, Designer, Decorating Consultant or other related position. Must have Knowledgeable for preparing interior implementation documents and construction documents, including material, finish, lighting and appliance schedules, interior plans, elevations; Skilled in computer aided design (CAD), design software including Vectorworks, Indesign, Photoshop, and Sketchup, and renderings; Skilled in interior concept design, design development, and design presentation based on client vision, project scope and architectural concept.
