Job Description:
As an Interior Decorator at JY Construction, you will:
• Meet with clients to identify their needs and style preferences
• On-site measurement
• Coordinating with contractors, engineers and third parties as needed, ensuring the seamless execution of the project
• Creating and proposing plans and interior layouts that meet code requirements and client needs
• Creating renderings and construction drawing
• Selecting colours, finishes, materials, and various design elements and equipment, including floor and wall coverings, window treatments, and lighting.
• Contribute as part of a multidisciplinary team to achieve holistic design outcomes
• Utilize graphics software to craft detailed plans and 3-D models.
• Estimate costs and required materials

Job Requirements:
Requirements:
Having a valid driver’s licence
Having a college or university certificate or diploma in interior decoration or interior design or a relevant field
2+ years experience in interior decorating or interior design
Expertise in designing tools and software such as AutoCAD, REVIT, SketchUp, 3ds Max, Photoshop
Experience in decorating residential or commercial interior spaces and home staging is an asset
Outstanding communication skills
