Specialty insurance provider seeks an experienced Environmental Underwriter to underwrite new and renewal business.

Candidate will underwrite Natural Disaster Triggered Pollution; Pesticide-Herbicide Overspray; Misapplication of Biosolids and Manure; Over the Road Spills of Chemicals and Fertilizers; Leaking Storage Tanks; Site Explosions; Pollutant Discharge into the Soil, Water, or Air; Midnight Dumping; Asbestos, Lead and Mold; and similar risks.

Duties:

*** Accept, modify, or decline risks.

*** Underwrite Environmental risks for coverage lines including General Liability, Contractors Pollution Liability, Professional Liability, Premises Pollution Liability and Excess Liability.

*** Oversee and approve endorsements.

*** Collaborate with general agents/brokers to obtain further information, quote rates, or explain underwriting guidelines.

Experience Sought:

*** 3+ years of Underwriting experience with authority in Environmental, Casualty Excess and Surplus lines, or similar.
