Job Title: Insulator Helper
Job Type: Full-time, permanent

Wage Rate and hours: $26.50per hour, 40 hours per week
Start date: as soon as possible
Work Location: various locations across Lower Mainland Area, BC.
Work area: Commercial and Residential Construction projects
Language: English
Education: not required
Experience: no prior experience is required. On the job training will be provided.
Job duties:
• Assist skilled workers such as insulators
• Attend training and safety meetings
• Load and unload construction materials
• Move construction materials to work sites and provide them to skilled insulators
• Prepare work surfaces and protect work area from potential damage
• Ensure job sites are left clean and tidy at the end of each workday
• Ensure materials are stored safely on site or removed from job site when required
• Follow safety rules as per Worksafe BC and company policies
• Clean up chemical spills and other containments from work sites
• Clean and pile salvaged materials
• Remove rubble, asbestos and other debris at project sites
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding work, bending, crouching, kneeling, combination of sitting, standing, walking
Weight handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
