About the Role
As a Quality Inspector I, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. You will inspect and test materials throughout the production process, verify finished goods, and help maintain a safe and efficient work environment. $19/hour
What You’ll Do
* Inspect, test, package, and label in-process and finished products according to specifications.
* Perform visual inspections based on customer requirements and Nordson MEDICAL standards.
* Communicate necessary adjustments to production teams based on inspection results.
* Accurately document inspection results in the quality database.
* Conduct Melt Flow testing and inspect incoming raw materials as assigned.
* Maintain and report on measurement equipment functionality and calibration status.
* Assist in training new and existing Quality Inspectors.
* Support quality management with tasks such as rework, filing, and special testing.
* Verify labels and documentation for accuracy.
* Follow all safety and health standards to maintain a secure work environment.
What We’re Looking For
* High school diploma or GED required.
* Ability to read and document specifications and measurements accurately.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to see small print clearly.
* Clear and legible writing skills.
* Preferred: Experience with Quality System Management and documentation control.
* Excellent communication skills—verbal, written, and interpersonal.
