Insight Director Job

Responsible for development, execution, and oversight of insight initiatives across Retail Insight's North American operations; drives high-level decision-making, aligns analytics with strategic priorities, and ensures insights are embedded into the broader value proposition; actively shapes market leadership by driving innovation, building impactful relationships, and delivering measurable client success; defines and articulates the vision for how insights should inform and transform business strategy and client success; drives Retail Insight's overall insight strategy, ensuring its alignment with corporate goals and client priorities; stays ahead of emerging retail and analytics trends, incorporating future-oriented strategies into actionable plans; leads multiple insight teams, including senior managers and analysts, ensuring high performance, collaboration, and innovation; oversees resource allocation, team development, and succession planning, creating a culture of excellence and accountability; promotes inter-team collaboration to align objectives across different insight functions for holistic delivery; acts as the key insight partner for clients, helping them unlock maximum value from Retail Insight's solutions, including waste reduction, availability improvement, and Inventory accuracy; oversees the design and implementation of tailored solutions that address client-specific challenges and strategic goals; delivers executive-level presentations and thought leadership to solidify Retail Insight as a trusted partner; champions the use of advanced analytics, machine learning, and predictive modeling to create next-generation solutions; drives innovation in areas like waste, availability, and inventory solution strategies; partners with the product team to ensure that analytics innovations align with product roadmaps and client needs; collaborates with the executive leadership team to ensure insights inform corporate strategy and key decision-making; presents insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders, making complex data accessible and actionable; builds partnerships with external organizations, vendors, and thought leaders to enhance Retail Insight's reputation as a market leader; acts as a visible advocate for Retail Insight in conferences, panels, and industry forums. Requirements: Bachelor’s or foreign degree equivalent in Business, Business Administration, Business Analytics, Data Science or a related field and 5 years of experience in the job offered or in data analytics. Special skills - Experience managing senior-level teams and cross-functional collaboration across multiple clients; Advance Analytics; Git & JIRA; Data presentation and visualization; Implementing insight-driven strategies that have delivered measurable impact across clients; innovating and adapting analytics approaches to evolving market conditions; data analytics, machine learning, and business intelligence tools; SQL, DQL & DML. Hybrid role - telecommuting permitted 3 days/week. Conduct 10-12 annual visits to client sites, domestic and international to Canada—up to 20%.
