Position Details
Employment Type: Full-time, permanent
Hourly Wage: $46.00
Weekly Hours: 35 hours

Duties and Responsibilities:
-Analyze and optimize digital workflows used in the design and fabrication of dental restorations, including crowns, bridges, veneers, inlays, onlays, and implant abutments
-Manage and maintain CAD/CAM systems, including 3D scanners, design software and 3D printers, ensuring smooth data flow and system performance.
-Collaborate with dental technicians and production staff to identify digital solutions that improve efficiency, accuracy, and turnaround time for custom dental prosthetics
-Implement system updates, software configurations, and hardware calibrations to ensure consistent production quality and compliance with lab protocols
Provide technical support for intraoral scan file intake, ensuring proper integration of client-submitted digital impressions into the design and fabrication pipeline
-Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and quality assurance checks to identify and resolve issues affecting digital design files, milling output, or restoration fit
-Evaluate new digital tools, platforms, and production technologies, making recommendations for adoption to support innovation and scalability within the lab
-Develop and maintain documentation for CAD/CAM processes, system protocols, and technical guidelines to support staff training and operational consistency
-Assist in the planning and execution of data backups, system security measures, and digital asset management to safeguard client case files and proprietary design templates
Qualifications:
-A university degree in computer science or a related discipline
-1 to 2 years of related experience is a plus
-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot software, hardware, and digital workflow issues
-Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
