Job Description:
Big Project Investments Ltd is a Calgary-based company engaged in investment and business development activities across various industries. We are seeking a skilled IT Support Analyst to maintain and support our internal IT systems, assist staff with technical issues, and ensure smooth operation of company technology infrastructure.
Job Duties
Provide technical support to employees for hardware, software, and network-related issues
Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, operating systems, and applications
Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems related to desktops, laptops, printers, and network devices
Monitor system performance and ensure security and reliability of IT systems
Manage user accounts, access permissions, and system backups
Assist in maintaining company network infrastructure including routers, switches, and wireless networks
Document IT procedures, troubleshooting steps, and system configurations
Provide training and guidance to staff on IT tools and systems
Coordinate with external IT vendors and service providers when necessary
Work Setting
On-site work at company office
No remote work option
Requirements
Education
College diploma or certificate in computer science, information technology, or a related field
Experience
1 year to less than 2 years of experience in IT technical support or help desk support
Technical Skills
MS Windows and Mac OS systems
Networking concepts (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, wireless networks)
MS Office applications
Active Directory user administration
Basic database and system troubleshooting
Help desk or ticketing systems
Personal Suitability
Strong problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills
Organized and detail-oriented
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
