Job Description

. Consult with clients to determine their needs.

. Make sure that procedures and solutions satisfy business needs, record technical requirements.

. Create and apply business solutions for information systems.

. Offer guidance on information systems management, policy, strategy, and service provision.

. Examine technological and physical security threats to hardware, software, and data.

. Create guidelines, protocols, and backup plans to reduce the impact of security breaches.

. Create and put into effect policies and processes at every stage of the software development process.

. Perform evaluations to evaluate information systems, software, and quality assurance procedures.

. Handle conflict resolution situations.

. To guarantee the quality of the product, run automated or other testing machinery.

. Consult with customers to ensure continued support following the transaction.

. Conduct software application tests and information and telecommunication systems tests, and record the results.

Tasks
. Confer with clients to identify requirements
. Document technical requirements to ensure that products, processes and solutions meet business requirements
. Design, develop and implement information systems business solutions
. Provide advice on information systems strategy, policy, management and service delivery
. Assess physical and technical security risks to data, software and hardware
. Develop policies, procedures and contingency plans to minimize the effects of security breaches
. Develop and implement policies and procedures throughout the software development life cycle
. Conduct reviews to assess quality assurance practices, software products and information systems
. Resolve conflict situations
. Operate automatic or other testing equipment to ensure product quality
. Consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support
. Execute and document results of software application tests and information and telecommunication systems tests
