Job Description

. Plan, organize, direct and evaluate the company's information systems and technology requirements across HVAC service, field operations, dispatch and customer service

. Manage service-management, work-order, scheduling and dispatch software systems

. Oversee integration of field-service, customer-information and equipment-monitoring platforms

. Establish policies and standards for system access, data security and information management

. Coordinate and negotiate with software vendors, IT service providers and technology contractors

. Prepare and administer technology budgets and monitor expenditures

. Supervise IT personnel, support staff and contractors engaged in technology projects

. Develop management reporting to support business planning and operational decisions

. Provide senior management with recommendations on technology investments and system upgrades

. Bachelor's degree

. 2 years to less than 3 years

. Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Responsibilities
Tasks
. Assign IT projects to systems analysts, programmers and other computer technicians
. Coordinate IT projects, including the design and deployment of new IT systems and services
. Direct and control daily operations
. Plan and control budget and expenditures
. Review operational reports to assess compliance with software and hardware requirements
. Supervise computer analysts, engineers, programmers, technicians and other personnel
. Train staff
. Establish and implement policies and procedures for information systems
. Authorize the development of specifications for products or services
. Meet with clients to discuss system requirements, specifications, costs and timelines
. Manage incidents
. Consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support
