Industrial Painter Job

Gold Star Railings Ltd. located at #208-12837 76 Ave. Surrey, British Columbia is looking to hire an Industrial Painter to join their team as soon as possible.

Work location: On site
Salary: 36.65 hourly
Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time

Requirements:

Languages: English
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years

On site, Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Responsibilities:

Clean work area
Organize and maintain inventory
Check proper thickness of plating using micrometers, callipers or other devices
Clean and maintain equipment
Operate and control: electroplating equipment to coat metal, hot-dip metal plating equipment to galvanize metal and/or spray equipment to build up worn or damaged parts
Paint small items and apply touch-ups using paint brushes
Prepare and apply stencils, decals or other decorative items on finished products
Prepare and mix metallizing solutions according to formulas or specifications
Select appropriate paint or mix paints
Tend or operate equipment to prepare items for application of protective or decorative coatings
Tend or operate equipment to spray or coat
