We have an exciting opportunity to add Industrial Mechanics to our team! We are actively seeking individuals who possess exceptional organizational skills, a talent for making well-informed decisions, keen attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while also providing technical support when needed. The ideal candidates for this role will have a strong foundation in the maintenance of industrial equipment and a proven track record of hands-on experience in machinery maintenance. The candidates will primarily be responsible for working with our existing systems and technologies, ensuring optimal performance and reliability
Primary Responsibilities:
• Install, align, dismantle, and move industrial machinery and mechanical equipment, including conveyors, mixers, ovens, proofers, and packaging systems
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure reliable and continuous production operations
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic system issues using technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic tools
• Repair and restore equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime and maintain efficiency
• Inspect industrial machinery for defects, wear, and proper operation, and perform necessary adjustments or repairs
• Perform welding, cutting, and fabrication tasks for repairs or modification of machinery components when required
• Support installation, setup, and commissioning of new production equipment and system upgrades
• Maintain and service automated production systems, including sensors and PLC-controlled equipment
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, service reports, and equipment logs
• Collaborate with production and quality assurance teams to ensure smooth and efficient plant operations
Requirements of Position:
• High School Diploma
• Post-secondary education in Engineering, Industrial Mechanics, Millwrighting, or a related technical discipline is considered a strong asset
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an industrial mechanic or in a similar industrial maintenance role
• Strong skills in the installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial machinery and mechanical equipment
Compensation & Conditions:
• $36 per hour
• Minimum 30-hour work week
• Overtime pay will apply after 44 hours of work per week
