Duties and Responsibilities
-Inspect, diagnose, and repair Genox and SunKo machinery, including shredders, magnetic separators, conveyors, and crushing equipment, to ensure continuous and safe operation of recycling lines.
-Interpret and follow Chinese-language operation manuals and technical diagrams to troubleshoot issues and carry out mechanical servicing in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
-Communicate directly with equipment manufacturers in China, in Mandarin, to obtain technical support, updates, and replacement part specifications as needed for Genox and SunKo systems.
-Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on imported industrial machines to minimize downtime, including lubrication, belt alignment, motor checks, hydraulic calibration, and component replacement.
-Install, assemble, and calibrate new processing machinery, ensuring compliance with safety standards and optimal integration into Eagle Disposal’s facility workflow.
-Train and guide local mechanics and apprentices on the operation and maintenance of imported equipment, using translated resources and real-time demonstrations with support from multilingual supervisors.
-Collaborate with the operations team and site supervisors to identify mechanical inefficiencies or risks and implement timely solutions to avoid disruption of materials processing.
-Maintain detailed maintenance logs and technical documentation to ensure full traceability of repairs, replacements, and servicing history.
-Support emergency mechanical responses, including breakdown recovery and rapid repair of mission-critical machines used in daily waste handling and recycling operations.
-Recommend improvements and upgrades to existing equipment and maintenance practices based on real-time observations, manufacturer consultations, and evolving operational needs.
