Industrial mechanic and millwright Job

BC Box Mfg Ltd., a premier provider of corrugated boxes and packaging solutions on the West Coast, located at 106-13025 76 Avenue Surrey BC V3W 2V7 has an immediate vacancy for 1 Industrial mechanic and millwright. The position is full time/ permanent, 30 hours/week, $35.00/hour.

Duties involve to detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions, repair or replace defective machinery parts, perform routine maintenance work on machinery, assembling machinery and equipment (prior to installation), installing machinery and equipment, operate hoisting and lifting equipment.
Applicant must be able to work under pressure and in fast paced environment. Hand-eye co-ordination, ability to distinguish between colours and standing for extended periods are the additional capabilities of the applicant. Work site is noisy and dusty.
The applicant must have completed secondary (high) school education. At least five years of experience in industrial machinery repair or millwrighting is required. Language of work will be English.
