Job Description:
Job Duties: The successful candidate will be responsible for:
• Assemble mechanical equipment used in beverage manufacturing.
• Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions.
• Read blueprint, drawing and specifications to determine work requirements.
• Repair or replace defective machinery parts;
• Perform routine maintenance work on machinery.
• Operate machining tools to fabricate parts.
• Program programmable logic controllers (PLCs)
• Install machinery and equipment
• Operate hosting and lifting equipment.
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
Hours of Work: 35 to 40 hours per week

Job Requirements:
• College diploma/certificate in mechanics, engineering, or a related discipline from a program of 1 year to 2 years, or equivalent experience.
• A three-to-four-year apprenticeship program is considered a strong asset.
• A minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience maintaining and repairing industrial machinery in a manufacturing environment is required.
• Experience within a food or beverage manufacturing facility is considered a strong asset.
• Good oral and written English communication skills are required.
Work Conditions:
• Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, and kneel.
• Physical capability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
• Attention to detail and strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work around industrial production equipment safely.
