Job Description:
-Cut and trim pork and beef products using hand knives and mechanical cutting equipment.
-Debone meat and remove excess fat, cartilage, and connective tissue.
-Portion and prepare meat products in accordance with production specifications.
-Maintain product quality standards and reduce waste during processing.
-Comply with food safety, sanitation, HACCP, and CFIA regulations.
-Operate cutting tools and equipment, including band saws and trimming machinery.
-Handle and store meat products properly in refrigerated conditions.
-Clean and sanitize tools, equipment, and work areas to maintain hygiene standards.

Job Requirements:
-Secondary school completion preferred.
-Minimum 7 months of experience in meat processing or related manufacturing, or completion of an industrial meat cutting program, is required.
-Basic knowledge of meat cutting, trimming, knife handling, or production work required.
-Experience using hand tools, knives, or cutting equipment is an asset.
-On-the-job training provided for company standards, safety, and food handling procedures.
-Physically able to stand for long periods, perform repetitive tasks, and lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg).
-Comfortable working in a refrigerated, fast-paced environment.
-Strong attention to detail and commitment to hygiene and food safety standards.
-Flexible availability, including weekends if needed.
