We're seeking an experienced, highly skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our 3rd Shift Maintenance Team. This is not an entry-level position. We're looking for a maintenance professional who can independently troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair complex production equipment while helping keep our operation running safely and efficiently.

Schedule
3rd Shift
• Monday through Friday with occasional weekends as needed
• 10:00pm to 6:30am
Training
• Approximately 30 days on 1st Shift
• 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.

What You'll Do
As a key member of our Maintenance Team, you will be responsible for ensuring that production equipment operates at peak performance.
Responsibilities Include:
• Troubleshooting and repairing production equipment to minimize downtime
• Diagnosing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and automation issues
• Performing preventative and predictive maintenance activities
• Reading and completing work orders and maintenance documentation
• Logging repairs, testing results, and parts usage in computerized systems
• Inspecting equipment and identifying potential failures before they occur
• Installing, replacing, and repairing machine components according to manufacturer specifications
• Troubleshooting motors, gearboxes, conveyors, sensors, and production equipment
• Supporting machine setup and changeovers
• Following Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and all OSHA and food safety requirements
• Collaborating with production, sanitation, quality, and leadership teams
• Participating in continuous improvement projects to increase equipment reliability and efficiency
What You'll Bring
Required Qualifications
• 3-5 years of industrial maintenance experience
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Experience reading electrical and pneumatic schematics
• Knowledge of conveyor systems, motors, gearboxes, and production equipment
• Computer proficiency including Microsoft Word, Excel, and web-based maintenance systems
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
• Food manufacturing or bakery experience
• Electrical certifications
• Welding and machining experience
• Trade school, vocational, or technical training
• Experience with GMP, HACCP, and food safety programs
• Experience in fabrication, plumbing, HVAC, or related maintenance disciplines
Physical Requirements
This position requires a hands-on professional who can:
• Lift, push, and pull up to 50-75 pounds occasionally
• Lift and move 5-30 pounds frequently
• Stand and walk for extended periods
• Bend, crouch, kneel, climb stairs, steps, and ladders
• Work safely with a variety of hand and power tools
• Maintain strong manual dexterity and physical endurance
Work Environment
This role operates in a food manufacturing environment and may involve exposure to:
• Machinery and moving equipment
• Loud noise and vibration
• Temperature fluctuations
• Wet working conditions
• Food allergens including wheat, milk, eggs, tree nuts, and sesame
