Industrial Machinery Maintenance Mechanic Job

FS Tool Corporation is looking for full time Industrial machinery maintenance mechanic for 71 Hobbs Gate, Markham, ON L3R 9T9. There are 3 positions available.

Main duties and responsibilities are as follows but not limited to:

- Read blueprints, diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures
- Install, troubleshoot and maintain power transmission, vacuum, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and programmable logic controls
- Adjust machinery and repair or replace defective parts
- Operate machine tools such as lathes and grinders to fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set-up of machinery
- Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on machinery
- Construct foundations for machinery or direct other workers to construct foundations
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair plant equipment including electro mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Install, align, and dismantle industrial machinery and mechanical equipment such as pumps, fans, sensors and motors.
- Maintaining accurate records, following up on tasks assigned with completion times for deficiencies.
- Respond to breakdowns on equipment, utilizing the current maintenance request program. (Assign personal, recommend replacement parts purchase, repair etc.)

Hours of work are 40 hours per week (overtime paid after 44 hours/week). Pay is $35.00/hour. Successful candidate must speak English. Completion of secondary school is required. Minimum work experience of 3 years is required.
