Employment Terms: Full Time – Permanent

Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Boning and De-boning: Skilfully cut bones away from carcasses, quarters, or primal cuts while maximizing meat yield.
2. Carcass Breakdown: Cut large sides of meat into smaller primal or sub-primal cuts for packaging or distribution.
3. Trimming: Remove skin, excess fat, blood clots, bruises, and blemishes to meet strict quality standards.
4. Line Operation: Work steadily on a fast-paced production line, often rotating through specific station tasks.
5. Sanitation and Safety: Inspect, sharpen, and maintain cutting tools, while sanitizing the work area to meet food safety rules.
6. Perform other related duties as required.

Employment Requirements:
1. Education: Completion of secondary school education is required.
2. Work Experience: At least one-year previous hands-on experience with commercial knives, saws, and deboning techniques in food production.
3. Ability to stand for long shifts, perform repetitive motions, and lift heavy pieces of meat up to 50 lbs.
4. Willingness to work in cold, damp, and chilled industrial rooms.
5. Strict adherence to occupational health guidelines and food safety regulations.

Working Hours: 8 - 9.5 hours/day, 40 - 47.5 hours/week; standard shifts are 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, 5 days a week but daily shift end times may vary based on business volume; 2 days off on weekends

Wage/Benefits: $22.50 - $26.50/hour based on experience, Overtime available upon approval of the management, 3 days paid sick leave per year, Group Benefits (Dental and Extended Medical Insurance) after 3 months of employment
