Industrial Automation Engineering Manager Job

Manage all aspects of the Automation and Electrical Engineering Department (20%); Lead a team of engineers, providing guidance and training on automated poultry machinery and processes, using Industrial Automation Software (Codesys, Raspberry Pi, AutoCAD) (20%); Supervise and coordinate the installation, maintenance, and testing of automated poultry machinery and processes at customer sites (20%); Audit and oversee technical work provided by on-site automation and
electrical engineers on automated poultry machinery and processes, using PLC knowledge (Rockwell Automation, Schneider Electric, Somachine Logic Builder and Ecostruxure Machine Expert) (20%); Liaise with clients about product specifications and part requirements, and provide input and solutions when needed (15%); Stay up to date on working knowledge of current local, state, and federal regulations applicable to the poultry industry (5%).

Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a closely related field, plus 24 months experience in a closely related occupation. Requires 24 months experience with the following: PLC knowledge (Rockwell Automation, Schneider Electric, Somachine Logic Builder and Ecostruxure Machine Expert); C++, Python, Data Analysis; Industrial Automation Software (Codesys, Raspberry Pi, AutoCAD); Installation, testing, and maintenance of automated poultry machinery and processes including egg collection, ventilation, feeding and manure treatment designs, and remote connections. 70% domestic travel to client sites in the U.S. as needed. Travel 1-2x/year to HQ in Italy for company meeting and training.
