In-House Attorney Job

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Litigation Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various areas of law, including but not limited to family law, personal injury law, etc. This role requires excellent negotiation skills, legal research capabilities, and the ability to draft comprehensive legal documents. As a Litigation Attorney, you will handle a wide range of legal responsibilities, including managing litigation, advising on corporate and business transactions, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

- Manage and oversee litigation matters, including working with outside counsel when necessary.
- Draft, review and negotiate contracts and other transactional documents.
- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients in disputes involving personal injury, workers' compensation, and securities law.
- Provide legal guidance on business initiatives, risk management, and compliance issues.
- Conduct legal research and stay current on relevant laws and regulations.
- Support cross-functional teams on various legal issues as they arise.

Qualifications:

- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the bar in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Licensed to practice law in Arizona (or ability to obtain admission promptly).
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successful settlements.
- Excellent legal drafting abilities along with proficient research skills.
- Familiarity with legal administrative processes within a law office setting is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
