Immigration Lawyer Job

An Immigration Lawyer is needed in Duluth, Georgia.

• Prepare, review, and file nonimmigrant and immigrant visa petitions and applications on behalf of employer clients and foreign national beneficiaries.
• Draft legal memoranda, briefs, and correspondence to government agencies. Respond to Requests for Evidence (RFEs), Notices of Intent to Deny (NOIDs), and other agency inquiries by researching applicable statutes, regulations, and case law.
• Advise employer clients on I-9 employment eligibility verification compliance.
• Monitor changes in U.S. immigration laws, regulations, and agency policy and advise clients accordingly.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files and records using immigration case management software.
• Track filing deadlines and ensure timely submission of all petitions and applications.
• Communicate directly with clients, foreign nationals, and corporate human resources personnel to gather information, explain case strategy, and provide status updates.

Juris Doctor (J.D.) Degree from an accredited U.S. law school, or a foreign equivalent.
Must be licensed to practice law and be a member in good standing of the bar of at least one U.S. state, territory, or the District of Columbia.
