FOREMOST UNIVERSAL LP
is in need of IMCAR Station/CNC Equipment Operator
NOC Code: 94106
Employment Terms: Full Time – Permanent
This position will work with Lead Hands, Charge Hands and Foremen to ensure continuous improvements using the IMCAR station and other CNC equipment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area while supporting efficient shop flow
2. Complete dimensional inspections and maintain production documentation
3. Monitor machine performance and report equipment issues or discrepancies
4. Assist operators within the metal working department and perform minor pipe fitting tasks as required
5. Operator overhead cranes and material handling equipment safety
6. Align shell edges, clamp components and perform tack welds required for fit-up
7. Read and interpret work orders, drawings and production specifications
8. Support coil loading, de-coiling, plate rolling, shell forming, beveling, plasma cutting and flanging operations
9. Operate previously set up IMCAR and CNC forming equipment in accordance with work instructions and supervisor direction
10. Operate metal shaping machines such as brake, shears and hydraulic band saw
11. Monitor parts usage and report on any material issues
12. Maintain a working knowledge of changes in technology, compliance and repair techniques
13. Ensure compliance with Industry, Legislative, and corporate Safety policies and procedures
14. Recommend changes to improve quality and productions costs
Working Hours: 10 hours/day; 40 hours/week; shift will vary between days and nights from Monday to Thursday; 3 days off on Friday to Sunday
Wage/Benefits: $27.11/hour; Extended Medical, Dental and Disability Insurance

Employment Requirements:
• Education: High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
• Work Experience: At least 6 months of CNC experience is required. Experience with IMCAR station is an asset.
• Experience with plate rolls and plasma tables is an asset.
• Safety training is an asset but willing to train as required.
• Ability to perform repetitive lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify hazards.
• Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills and able to work effectively in a diverse, fast-pace environment.
