Conducting the three daily prayers and the Jumu'ah (Friday) prayer. Leading the Taraweeh prayers during the month of Ramadan. Performing the Eid prayers during the Islamic festivals of Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha. Preparing and delivering the Friday sermon (Khutbah), an essential part of the Jumu'ah prayer congregations is similar to Sunday services in a church. Discussing religious, moral, and social issues relevant to the community and developing their spiritual, ethical, and social values. Offering spiritual and personal counseling to community members. Providing pre-marital and marital counseling. Assisting individuals with religious doubts or questions. Education to youth about the fundamentals of Islam. Granted with formal chain of Ijazah (authorization) of full memorization of the Quran (Hafidh Quran). Must be fluent in English and Arabic and have a strong understanding of Islamic theology/Islamic studies, followed by either a degree, diploma or certificate of Ijazah. Must have experience with organizing daily Halaqahs, and Friday sermons and be able to communicate effectively with all age groups, and lead youth Quran study classes.

Minimum requirements
Experience: 24 months’ experience in the position offered or a related position.
Special skills:
Have been granted with formal chain of Ijazah (authorization) of full memorization of the Quran (Hafidh Quran). Must be fluent in English and Arabic and have a strong understanding of Islamic theology/Islamic studies, followed by either a degree, diploma or certificate of Ijazah.
