Duties

Greet patients warmly, verify insurance information, and efficiently manage patient intake processes
Schedule appointments and coordinate patient flow using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems
Measure vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and oxygen saturation to support clinical assessments
Maintain accurate documentation of patient encounters, ICD coding for diagnoses, and medical histories
Tasks like specimen collection, basic anatomy and physiology support.
Ensure the cleanliness and organization of clinical areas while managing front desk responsibilities like answering phones and managing patient records
Requirements

Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, ICD coding.
Familiarity with EHR systems and medical administrative support functions, specifically Athena
Ability to handle fast-paced settings with professionalism, accuracy and compassion
Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients of diverse backgrounds and healthcare teams
