Job Description:
AJ’s Maintenance & Supply Ltd., located at 337 Main Street, Creighton Saskatchewan S0P 0A0, has a vacancy for x2 full-time and permanent HVAC Technicians. See company website, www.ajsmaintenanceandsupply.ca. This position is field work and will travel to various sites throughout SK & MB. Must be willing to relocate to job location or nearby job location.
Main Duties
• Complete timely inspections, testing and accurate reporting of equipment defects/deficiencies
• Perform scheduled maintenance service on HVAC and Refrigeration systems and fixtures.
• Provide input into the planned and scheduled work and assist with the completion of the committed schedule.
• Assist with the scoping, estimating, planning and execution of new work or projects
• Ensure all requirements as specified by the manufacturer of systems and fixtures are met
• Ensure all installations, repairs and maintenance meet the requirements of the appropriate codes
• Ensure all installations, repairs and maintenance meet environmental protection requirements
• Other duties as assigned.
Education
• Red Seal Trade Qualification in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic OR HVAC OR eligibility to challenge the red Seal as HVAC Technician.
Experience and Skills
• Demonstrated experience as an HVAC Technician or air conditioning technician
• Excellent ability to read drawings and schematics.
• Ability to work in a fast paced, team environment.
• Strong commitment to personal and team safety.
• Proficient in the English Language.
Other Requirements
• Drivers license from any jurisdiction.
Wages and Overtime
• $40.39 per hour / 8 hours per day / 40 hours per week
• Overtime paid at 1.5 times the hourly rate, after 40 hours per week.
