HVAC Mechanic Job

Simplex Mechanical Ltd., located at 14216 88 Avenue, Surrey, BC, V3W 3L7 urgently requires two permanent full-time Heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) mechanic. We welcome and encourage Youth, New immigrants, and Aboriginal people to apply.

Job Duties:
• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings for the installation of HVAC units in the projects being constructed by the company.
• Measure and lay out reference points for installation.
• Assemble and install refrigeration or air conditioning components.
• Measure, cut and connect piping using welding and brazing equipment.
• Start up system and test for leaks using testing devices.
• Recharge system with refrigerant, check and test regulators, calibrate system.
• Perform routine maintenance or servicing.
• Install, troubleshoot, repair and overhaul entire heating, ventilation, air handling, refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
• Repair and replace parts and components for entire refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation or heat pump systems.

Education: Completion of High School is required.
Experience: Minimum 2 Years of experience in a relevant field is required.

Languages: English is required.
Wage: $38.50/hour for 40 hours per week along with 4% Vacation pay.
