Position: Restaurant Manager
Position Available: 1
Term of Employment: 35 hours per week (Full-time, Permanent)
Work Location: 433 Granville St, Vancouver, BC V6C 1T1
Vacation Fee: 10 days paid vacation or 4% of gross salary
Salary: $38.50 per hour

Job Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize and oversee the daily operations of the restaurant
- Determine the type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures
- Monitor revenues, control operating costs and assist with budget planning
- Recruit, train, supervise and evaluate staff performance
- Prepare staff work schedules and adjust labour requirements
- Organize and maintain inventory of food, beverages and other supplies
- Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food, beverages and other supplies
- Work with clients to arrange catering services and private events
- Handle customer complaints and ensure high standards of customer service
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Balance daily cash receipts and prepare cash reports

Job Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a food service or hospitality industry, including at least 3 years in a supervisory role, is required
- Completion of College in food service administration, hotel and restaurant management or any related fields
- Food Safe Certificate is required
- English is required
