Hiring a Human resources supervisor
Location of work: 1100-1631 Dickson Ave, Kelowna, BC V1Y 0B5
1 position available, 30 Hours per Week
Wage: $42/hour
Job Type: Full time – Permanent, to start as soon as possible
NOC: 11200
Requirements: Secondary education, 2 years of related work experience, English language
Main duties:
• Devise and execute company-wide hiring strategy
• Determine staffing levels in conjunction with management
• Implement staffing plans to assure required trades are available
• Hire and oversee training of staff
• Manage human resources information and related records systems
• Ensure new employees are on boarded and receive site orientation
• Plan, develop and implement human resources policies and programs
• Organize employee performance and assessment programs
• Administer benefit employment equity and other human resources programs
• Advise managers and employees on the interpretation of human resources policies, benefit programs and relevant labour laws
