Job Summary:
The Human Resources Officer will provide professional HR support across recruitment, employee relations, HR administration, and workplace health & safety initiatives. This role ensures accurate HR operations, supports management in complex matters, and maintains confidentiality and compliance with organizational policies.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Coordinate recruitment activities, including preparing job postings, reviewing applications, conducting interviews, and assisting with the hiring process.
• Advise managers and employees on HR policies, staffing procedures, and employee development programs.
• Manage onboarding and offboarding processes, including preparing offer letters, processing employee documentation, and conducting exit surveys.
• Provide centralized HR support for employee inquiries, leaves, benefits, payroll changes, and HR documentation.
• Manage disciplinary discussions, investigations, and terminations with discretion, if applicable.
• Guide leaders on sensitive HR matters and escalate when necessary, if applicable.
• Lead and maintain the Health & Safety committee and support OHS file management, if applicable.
• Maintain accurate HR systems, reports, and confidential records.
• Assist with policy updates, HR letters, reports, and ad hoc management requests.
• Oversee employee leave management, benefits administration, and payroll-related updates.

Qualifications:
• Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Previous experience in HR operations, including recruitment, employee relations, and administrative HR tasks.
• Knowledge of HR practices, workplace policies, and compliance requirements.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• High level of discretion and professionalism in handling confidential information.
• Proficiency with HR software and standard office applications.
