MINIMUM REQUIREMENT: The position of Human Resources Chinese Language Translator and Interpreter at Grand Supercenter Inc. requires at least a Bachelor's degree in Chinese Language and Literature that includes academic coursework providing the specialized knowledge necessary to perform the duties of the position. Such coursework should include advanced study in areas such as Chinese grammar, syntax, semantics, composition, professional and business Chinese, linguistic analysis, translation and interpretation principles, and cross-cultural communication relevant to Human Resources and corporate communications. This academic preparation provides the specialized knowledge necessary to accurately translate and interpret complex Human Resources documents and communications, analyze specialized employment terminology, preserve legal and contextual meaning, maintain standardized Chinese-language Human Resources terminology, and facilitate effective communication among management, Human Resources personnel, employees, applicants, vendors, and business partners.
