HR Specialist Job

• Support the recruitment and hiring process by posting job openings, screening applications, coordinating interviews, and assisting with candidate selection under the direction of senior management.
• Assist with onboarding new employees, including preparing orientation materials, maintaining employment records, and coordinating initial training activities.
• Maintain and update employee records, including personnel files, benefits enrollment, and compliance documentation, while ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
• Assist with the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, leave policies, and 401(k) enrollment, and respond to employee inquiries regarding benefits.
• Assist in ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations by preparing required HR reports and maintaining related documentation.
• Facilitate communication between management and staff, assist with workplace concerns, and support a positive work environment.
• Coordinate employee training and professional development activities, including scheduling sessions, tracking participation, and maintaining training records.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Public Affairs, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Must have 24 months experience as a HR Specialist, HR Coordinator, HR Generalist or related position.
