SSD GROUP MANAGEMENT LTD is seeking experienced Housekeeping Supervisors to join our team at the Pemberton Hotel.
Position: Housekeeping Supervisor
Type: Permanent, full-time
Salary: $36.75/hour
Requirements:
- Good English
- Customer service oriented
- Completion of secondary school
- 1-2 years of experience a in housekeeping/cleaning, including in a supervisory role
Main duties:
- Hire, train, supervise and evaluate housekeeping staff performance;
- Schedule shifts, arrange replacements in cases of absence, and assign tasks and rooms to housekeeping staff;
- Conduct regular inspections of rooms and common areas to ensure compliance with safety and hygiene standards;
- Recommend or coordinate additional services such as painting, repair work, renovations, or replacement of furnishings and equipment;
- Coordinate activities with other departments to ensure high-quality guest services;
- Monitor and replenish inventory of cleaning supplies;
- Prepare budget, estimate costs, and maintain financial records;
- May perform cleaning duties as needed.
