1000676166 ONTARIO INC O/A Best Western Plus Parry Sound has an immediate opening for an experienced Housekeeper (NOC: 65301) at our location in Parry Sound, Ontario.
As a Housekeeper (NOC: 65301), you will perform some or all of the following duties:
• Sweep, mop, wash, wax and polish floors
• Dust furniture and vacuum carpeting and area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture
• Make beds, change sheets and distribute clean towels and toiletries
• Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies
• Stock linen closet and supplies area
• Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
• Clean and disinfect public areas such as changing rooms, showers and elevators
• Disinfect operating rooms and other hospital areas
• Pick up debris and empty trash containers
• Wash windows, walls and ceilings.
• Report and store lost and found items
• Provide basic information on facilities
• May handle complaints when required.
Qualifications:
• Completion of secondary school is required.
• Strong time management and organizational skills to be able to manage heavy workload.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Physical ability to perform all aspects of the job, including requirements to lift up to 20 pounds.
Terms of employment: Permanent, Full time (35-40 hours/week)
Compensation: CA $ 19.00 /hour
