Jayambe Holding Corporation. O/A Travel Inn Cochrane has an immediate opening for an experienced Hotel Managing Supervisor (NOC: 62022) at our location in Cochrane, Ontario.

As an Hotel Managing Supervisor (NOC: 62022), you will perform some or all of the following duties:

• Greet, welcome, and professionally register guests upon arrival, ensuring a high standard of customer service, accurate documentation, and compliance with company policies and hospitality standards.
• Coordinate, assign, and actively supervise the daily activities of front desk staff, reservation agents, and other accommodation service personnel, ensuring efficient workflow, service consistency, and adherence to operational procedures.
• Develop, implement, and monitor staff work schedules, shift rotations, and operational methods to optimize productivity, maintain service quality, and meet fluctuating business demands.
• Coordinate activities with other work units or departments.
• Handle and resolve guest concerns, complaints, and service-related issues with professionalism and sound judgment, ensuring customer satisfaction and protecting the business reputation.
• Prepare and submit progress and other reports
• Monitor inventory levels and order supplies, equipment, and materials required for daily operations, ensuring cost control and uninterrupted service delivery.
• Oversee the proper use, operation, and basic troubleshooting of computer systems, reservation software, and other equipment; coordinate maintenance and repair activities to minimize downtime.
• Ensure the proper operation, maintenance, and repair of computers, equipment, and machinery.
• Perform front-line duties as required, including guest services and reservations, especially during peak periods or staff shortages, demonstrating leadership by example.

Qualifications
• Completion of secondary school is usually required.
• 1-2 year of experience in the occupation supervised is required.
• Completion of secondary school is usually required.
• Proven analytical skills with the ability to tackle problems systematically to diagnose issues and produce effective recommendations;
• Multi-tasker, attention to detail, and effective time management.
Terms of employment: Permanent, Full time (35-40 hours/week)
Compensation: CA $36.10/hour
